TSUKINO KATSURA

Founded in 1675, Tsukino Katsura is famous for the creation of the Nigori category. They developed this style in 1964 and would bottle sake during the end of its fermentation and through only a coarse filtration. The result was a milky, slightly sparkling sake that has now become famous around the world. Tsukino Katsura has some of the oldest sake aging cellars, featuring some bottles that are over 50 years years old.
