Winemaker David Bowley and Sarah Hong are the founders of Vinteloper, named for the word interloper: to step out, do things different, open new possibilities and bottle great wine. It's this spirit, to bend a few rules, that is at the core of everything they do. Focusing on creative energy and their ideal terroir in Adelaide Hills, they work with a variety of grape growers to support families and their communities where they produce wine based on season and throw in some of their own locally grown grapes.  Sourcing from a  handful of small vineyards across the region, we're working with our grape growers year after year to support their families and communities while we build a library of wine influenced by the season and evolution in our winemaking. To supplement our crop, additional grapes are grown for us by farmers with single vineyards in Langhorne Creek and the Clare Valley. The husband and wife team was founded in 2008 after winemaking stints in Australia and France.
